Talagy Names Dallas Market Leader

As part of its ongoing commitment to the Dallas-Ft. Worth metropolitan area, Talagy has named Craig Pettigrew to lead all of its efforts in DFW. A recruiting industry expert, Pettigrew has held leadership roles in recruiting and recruiting technology at Managing to Excellence, Vurv Technology, and Dallas-based P2 Solutions, where he worked for more than a dozen years.

Team Talagy Competes for Special Olympics

Battling cold temperatures with grit and determination, Team Talagy pulled out all of the stops in competing at this year’s Foam Fest 5K to benefit the Special Olympics. Billed as a blend of both mud racing and an obstacle course, the event travels throughout the United States from February through October. After participants plow through dirt and obstacles, they are treated to a human carwash of the soapy bubbles that give the event its unique name.

Talagy kicked off its fourth annual Taladays celebration today by sponsoring Fostering Futures at the Jacksonville Zoo. The event serves more than 300 foster children and their families and offers a fun-filled celebration that includes free admission to the zoo, carnival games, crafts, and a wide variety of delicious food and holiday sweets. The company has sponsored the event since 2009 by serving as Santa Claus for photos with the kids, as well as staffing a craft tent where kids make holiday ornaments and other masterpieces.

With an unprecedented turn out of volunteers and contributions, Talagy’s spring Basket Raffle event was a huge success. “We’re really proud of this year’s turnout,” said Talagy CEO, Amy McGeorge. “We’ve really gotten out there and encouraged local businesses and organizations to get involved. The response has been wonderful.” Among the myriad of products auctioned off in the company’s Easter baskets were gourmet food and wine, gift cards to local shops, various children’s toys, luxurious spa products, as well as gift certificates for a several cosmetic procedures. Proceeds from the raffle are being donated to the Northeast Florida United Way.

Talagy CEO, Amy McGeorge, announced today that Jess Riggs has been named Vice President of Operations for the company. Riggs previously led Talagy’s national recruiting operations since she joined the company in 2009. Prior to Talagy, Riggs held leadership positions in operations at Vurv Technology, a global software provider of talent management applications to the world’s largest companies. She began her career in human resources by leading several mega call centers for Citigroup’s retirement services business in the United States and India.
